WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Join BallerTV for upcoming basketball and volleyball events in Honolulu, Hawaii! We're looking for dependable, energetic Event Contractors who enjoy live sports and want hands-on experience in event production.
If you value:
FLEXIBILITY - Events take place on weekends and across multiple days, sometimes with setup work beforehand. As an independent contractor, you choose which events you accept.
EXCITEMENT - Work courtside at live basketball and volleyball events while helping families watch the action from anywhere. Outstanding contractors may receive opportunities to work additional BallerTV events across Hawaii and beyond.
NEW TECHNOLOGY - Gain hands-on experience with BallerTV's livestreaming equipment and software.
SUPPORT - Receive training, best practices, and ongoing assistance to help you succeed before, during, and after each event.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
TRACK - Receive, organize, transport, and manage cameras and other production equipment.
EXECUTE - Set up BallerTV's livestreaming systems at assigned basketball and volleyball courts while working safely and efficiently.
MONITOR - Ensure every game and match streams successfully by monitoring video quality and system performance.
TROUBLESHOOT - Resolve basic equipment and technology issues while maintaining communication with the BallerTV Operations team.
ENJOY - Get paid to watch live basketball and volleyball while helping athletes and families preserve unforgettable moments.
EVENT SCHEDULE AND PAY
This is a part-time, independent contractor position. Applicants may be considered for the following 2026 events:
  • Friday, September 4-Saturday, September 5, 2026
  • Thursday, November 19-Tuesday, November 24, 2026
  • Friday, November 27-Sunday, November 29, 2026
  • Thursday, December 10-Saturday, December 12, 2026
  • Pay: $23/hour

Contractors must be available for full assigned shifts on the event dates they accept. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and run as late as 10:00 p.m. Travel of up to 40 miles each way may be required.
Daily shifts may exceed 12 hours. Multi-day tournaments often involve long periods on your feet and require lifting and moving production equipment. Contractors should be comfortable working inside large athletic venues for extended periods.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must successfully complete a pre-event background check
  • Must be comfortable using iPhones and other iOS devices
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Must be able to multitask with strong attention to detail
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving production equipment throughout the day

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in live event production, sports broadcasting, videography, photography, or customer service
  • Interest in youth basketball and volleyball
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to transport event equipment
