Banquets Setup Staff
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquet Setup Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, refresh, tear down and maintenance of all meeting space according to Resort standards.
As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Starting Rate: $16.00/HR
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the correct and timely setup of all Banquet Event Order (BEO) functions which include meeting rooms, breaks, audio visual and other equipment.
  • At all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, fellow associates and management.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space, and storage areas to include the carpet, floors, walls, walks, doors, windows, heating/air conditioning units, etc.
  • Break down banquet space after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.

  • Must be detail oriented, a self-motivator, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible long hours sometimes required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Needs to be a team player, willing to help anyone in the immediate area on a minute's notice.
