Event Server at Encore & Via Roma

The responsibility of an event server is to deliver welcoming service to create an outstanding experience. As an event server, the main duty is to be attentive, professional, and most importantly always be in communication with the lead event captain. They must perform a variety of tasks, which includes, food handling, keeping glasses filled, polishing and event coordination. They are also responsible for the set-up and breakdown of events. If needed, banquet servers will arrange table placement for a buffet and set-up and break down the dance floor.

Requirements:

  • Must have excellent customer service, patience, and politeness.
  • Able to communicate in a professional and adequate manner.
  • Able to speak and understand English.
  • Team player- Being a team player is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling
  • Able to carry heavy trays (20-25lbs. at least)
  • Able to work in a fast and professional manner.

Prior experience as a restaurant server, waiter, waitress, wait staff, host, runner or another front of the house highly desirable.
