Job Summary

The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of security guards. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of the premises, providing expert advice to client management on physical security practices, and managing access control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, with proven experience in supervising security personnel and implementing effective security protocols.

Essential Duties:

  1. Manage Security Guard Force:
    • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of security guards, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and in compliance with company policies and client requirements.
    • Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
    • Conduct regular briefings and debriefings with security personnel to maintain high standards of performance and address any issues or concerns.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of security staff, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
  2. Physical Security Practices:
    • Provide expert advice and recommendations to client management on best practices in physical security.
    • Conduct regular assessments of the site’s security measures, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and suggesting improvements.
    • Collaborate with the client and internal teams to develop and implement site-specific security protocols and emergency response plans.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the site’s security measures are current and effective.
  3. Access Control Systems Management:
    • Oversee the operation and maintenance of access control systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and securely.
    • Manage access permissions, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
    • Conduct regular audits of access control logs and systems to detect and address any unauthorized access or security breaches.
    • Train security personnel and client staff on the proper use of access control systems.
  4. Incident Response and Reporting:
    • Lead the response to security incidents, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risks and resolve the situation.
    • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, security breaches, and daily operations for client management and company leadership.
    • Maintain accurate records of all security activities, incidents, and personnel actions.
  5. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
