Job description

The ideal candidate for this position will be an integrative member of our sales team to drive growth within the company by building trust and relationships with our customers for continued sales and rentals.


Responsibilities:

•In person visits to potential customers via cold and warm leads.

•Establish a rapport with new customers to ensure reoccurring sales.

•Schedule account maintenance meetings and effectively manage your calendar to continue building relationships with customers and address current requests/ concerns.

•Welcome customers into the store when not travelling.

•Continued knowledge about our products and inventory.

•Discussing the benefits, functions and maintenance of products and services offered by the company that best fit the customer’s needs.

•Accepting and processing orders, operating the POS and Rental systems.

•Promoting special sales and events the company offers.


Required Skills and Experience:

•In-depth knowledge of construction, agricultural and farming equipment.

•Excellent sales and communication skills.

•Working knowledge of POS and Rental systems.

•Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.


This position is in person. Once hired, a company phone will be provided.

Salary and sales commission based on experience.

Harris Trading Company is a family-owned large equipment sales and rental distributor located in the southeast. Our brick-and-mortar storefront is locally owned and operated in Lebanon, TN. We specialize in stocking multiple nationally known brands of construction, agricultural and farming equipment including attachments and accessories.
