Job description

Why Join Giga
  • The Pace: We're building at a speed most companies talk about but never actually operate at. If you've been bored somewhere else, you won't be here.
  • The Impact: Every person at Giga touches the work that matters. No layers, no waiting for approval chains. You'll see your fingerprints on what we ship.
  • The Team: A team of operators defining the future of AI infrastructure. We recruit A-players from the most innovative companies in the world, and they choose Giga because the work here means more.
  • The Moment: AI doesn't run without power, and that's us. Giga is the picks and shovels behind the AI revolution. This industry is about to explode, and you'll be in the room where it's already happening.

What you'll do
Giga Energy builds AI factories, fast. Our in-person programs are one of our highest-ROI pipeline channels, and we're just getting started scaling them.
We're looking for an Events Manager to own and expand our in-person presence as both the infrastructure and data center sales teams grow. You'll report directly to our Senior Events Manager to build the event engine that puts Giga in front of the hyperscaler, neocloud, and data center decision-makers who matter most.
This role is logistics-forward with strong instincts for guest experience. You'll run the operational backbone of our events program, including managing roadshows, tradeshows, swag, gifting, and Tier 2 events, while helping us test and launch a monthly happy hour series in key prospect cities. You'll also be the connective tissue with current customers, making sure we're showing up for them as we land and expand.
Where you'll work
Location flexibility across Houston, Long Beach, or San Francisco - with a requirement to be within 30 minutes of our facilities to manage inventory and event supplies on-site.
Responsibilities
Roadshow Series (Lead)
  • Own Giga's roadshow program end-to-end: venue selection, format, invites, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Partner with sales to set the target city list, sequencing, and account coverage for each roadshow cycle
  • Launch and scale a monthly happy hour series in key prospect cities, building a repeatable format we can run at increasing frequency
  • Build playbooks so we can scale high-quality events without reinventing the wheel each time

Tradeshow Support
  • Support Giga's presence at industry tradeshows: coordinating logistics, managing booth shipments, handling vendor relationships, and ensuring on-site execution runs smoothly
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales leads who own tradeshow strategy to make sure the operational details are locked well in advance
  • Own swag and collateral so the team can focus on conversations, not logistics

Customer Dinners & VIP Events
  • Coordinate intimate customer dinners and Tier 1 VIP experiences that deepen relationships with current accounts
  • Partner closely with account teams to ensure the right guests, right setting, and right follow-through

Swag & Gifting Program
  • Own Giga's swag inventory: sourcing, ordering, receiving, and managing stock at one of our facilities
  • Run a structured gifting program for key prospects and customers tied to deal milestones, events, and seasonal moments
  • Keep gifting thoughtful, on-brand, and operationally tight
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in event management, field marketing, or community programs, ideally in B2B tech, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS
  • Proven ability to own complex event logistics end-to-end without dropping details
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills - you know how to get the best setup at the best price
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; you're the person who makes every event feel effortless for attendees
  • Highly organized and systems-oriented - you build trackers, write playbooks, and keep stakeholders informed without being asked
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and resourcefulness is a daily requirement
  • Based in Houston, Long Beach, or San Francisco
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for events and roadshows
Bonus points
  • Experience marketing to or working alongside hyperscalers, neoclouds, or large data center operators
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM for tracking event-sourced pipeline
  • Experience building an events function from a lean foundation - you've scaled something, not just maintained it
  • An eye for brand - you notice when things don't look right and you fix them
Benefits
  • Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Commuter benefits

Who We Hire
We don't use "A-player" loosely. Here's what it actually means at Giga:
Antifragile. You don't just survive chaos, you get better because of it. When things break, change, or move sideways, you don't freeze. You adapt faster than the problem evolves.
High Agency. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap, you fill it. If something is blocking progress, you find a way around it, over it, or through it without asking for permission.
Executors. Ideas are cheap. We hire people who ship. You're the person who turns a whiteboard sketch into something real while everyone else is still scheduling the next meeting about it.
Bias to Action. Perfect is the enemy of done. You'd rather make a decision with 80% of the information and course correct than sit around waiting for 100% that never comes.
Speed. We move fast because the opportunity demands it. You're not reckless, but you understand that in this industry, the team that moves fastest wins. And you like winning.
