CTRMG is seeking a Program Manager with specialization in federal events and space management to support the Federal Transit Administration (DOT FTA) located in Washington, DC.
Requirements
The Program Manager serves as the primary point of contact between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), event stakeholders, venues, and contractor personnel. The Program Manager is responsible for overall contract performance, strategic planning, quality assurance, customer engagement, and successful execution of all conference, meeting, workshop, training, and special event support requirements under the BPA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the principal liaison to the Contracting Officer, COR, and Government stakeholders.
  • Provide overall leadership, management, and oversight of contract operations.
  • Develop and maintain event management plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee planning and execution of conferences, meetings, workshops, and training events.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, agency policies, and quality standards.
  • Lead recurring status meetings and provide performance reporting.
  • Manage resource allocation, staffing, and surge support requirements.
  • Resolve escalated issues involving venues, vendors, attendees, and logistical support activities.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure timely and successful event execution.
  • Monitor contract performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years managing conference, meeting, event, or logistical support contracts.
  • Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Federal Government clients.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DOT or FTA programs.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent events and geographically dispersed support teams.
