Now Hiring: Program Assistant (Temp-to-Perm) | Chicago Hybrid


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to support a prestigious, mission-driven membership organization in Chicago that convenes some of the most influential business and civic leaders for high-impact programming and events


This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in event operations, nonprofit administration, or executive-facing programming within a fast-paced, high-visibility environment


About the Role:

The Program Assistant will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of high-profile events and ensuring a seamless experience for members, guests, and speakers.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing reservations inboxes and responding to member inquiries
  • Entering and maintaining reservation data in Salesforce
  • Supporting onsite event registration, guest check-in, and seating logistics
  • Preparing event materials including name badges, packets, and seating charts
  • Assisting with inbox management, phone coverage, and front desk reception
  • Tracking attendance, cancellations, refunds, and reporting data
  • Supporting procurement needs including catering and office supplies
  • Assisting with execution of approximately 25 annual programs and events


What We’re Looking For:

  • Entry-level candidates or recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Strong internship, campus leadership, volunteer, or customer service experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence and comfort interacting with senior executives and members

Details:

  • Temp-to-Perm (2–3 month evaluation period)
  • Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in downtown Chicago; flexibility for WFH on Mondays and Fridays)
  • $26–$28/hour Conversion salary: $55,000–$60,000 (up to $65,000 for strong experience)
  • Exceptional benefits upon conversion, including employer-covered healthcare
