Provide expert-level AV and IT support for both live events and classroom technology. Serve as a lead technician for high-profile, technically complex events and support day-to-day classroom technology operations.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

Support the coordination and execution of campus events by assisting with IT and A/V setup and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for students interested in event operations, technology, and hands-on experience in live production and customer service. You will work closely with IT staff and event organizers to ensure events run smoothly and professionally. Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

  1. Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of A/V and IT equipment for campus events - C, TW, P, T
  2. Monitor and support A/V equipment during live events (e.g., microphones, projectors, sound systems, A/V accessories) - C, TW, P, T
  3. Provide on-site assistance during events, including basic troubleshooting and tech support - C, TW, CT, P, T
  4. Communicate with event staff, faculty, and IT supervisors to ensure needs are met regarding issues and scheduling - C, TW, P
