Overview

We are currently seeking Operations Staff who are seeking work and will be responsible for participating in set-up and clean-up activities for events and general maintenance at Tony's Pizza Events Center.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.00.

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until November 20, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor, repairs, and maintenance on various aspects of the arena as assigned.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Primary duties include building connections for various events.
  • Setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, other event seating, stages, basketball courts, football fields, etc.
  • Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of property.
  • Maintain organized storage areas.
  • Perform lawn maintenance such as mowing lawns, pulling weeds, and trimming trees.
  • Perform snow removal tasks such as shoveling sidewalks, parking areas, entryways, and loading docks.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by the operations manager or director of operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with event operations and changeovers is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts based on events and building needs, including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
  • Ability to follow basic and detailed instructions.
  • Ability to perform general labor; frequent heavy lifting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a forklift certification preferred. (we will train).
  • Ability to take direction.
