The internship empowers students to run their own local businesses, manage their own crew of people, and provide a much-needed service within their communities - while earning money as well as invaluable experience. Interns not only gain valuable work experience but can earn great money to help finance their college education as well.
Primary Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Building a marketing plan
  • Conducting sales meetings with clients
  • Managing small business local PR and social media, interviewing and hiring laborers, budgeting and cost management, customer service and quality control of painting crews
  • Part time commitment in spring semester and full time in summer
  • Your primary duty is to sell painting service contracts during the entire Season. You will regularly make field sales calls and visits throughout the entire Season to potential customers in an effort to obtain sales orders and contracts.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay:
Base plus commission. Expected pay range is $6,000 - $60,000.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, see, talk, and hear.
