This is a hybrid role based in our global headquarters in Reston, VA.
What you will do:
  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including tradeshows, sponsorships, client events, and webinars.
  • Partner with marketing and business leaders to align event strategies, messaging, and audience engagement with broader business priorities and growth goals.
  • Develop integrated event marketing plans, including promotional activities, branded materials, and attendee communications.
  • Manage event execution from planning through post-event follow-up, including timelines, budgets, vendors, exhibit coordination, registration, and onsite logistics.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on event strategy and opportunities to maximize visibility, engagement, and overall business impact.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of event marketing best practices, processes, templates, and self-service tools to help scale event execution and improve consistency across teams.
  • Coordinate across internal teams, speakers, partners, and vendors to deliver consistent, high-quality event experiences.
  • Track and analyze event and sponsorship performance metrics and recommend improvements for future marketing efforts.
  • Maintain records for event budgets, contracts, timelines, and post-event reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, or marketing and communications related to event planning.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% annually (domestically).

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with platforms such as Marketo, GotoWebinar, Zoom, WebEx, Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar.
  • Professional Skills:
  • Passion for finding new and creative ways to engage an audience.
  • Ability to work across teams and departments in a highly collaborative way.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple tasks at once.
