ABM is looking for a hardworking Forklift Driver. Valid Driver License, Good Driving Record and forklift experience required. Forklift Drivers are responsible for performing an array of duties such as, receiving and processing incoming waste materials, picking and filling orders from processing line, loading trailers, organizing, cutting and baling cardboard and trash.
Pay: $20.00-$20.50 hour

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures and protocols.
• Certified forklift operator a must.
• Ensure that quality services are performed as contracted.
• Assist manager with control of supplies and equipment necessary to meet customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Attend ABM training workshops when scheduled.
• Compliant with company policies and procedures and all federal, state, and local government regulations.
• Follow direction from ABM supervisor and management.
Responsibilities
• Operate equipment as needed (i.e. forklift, tugger, compactor, baller, etc.)
• Assist with management of general trash, cardboard recycling, wood pallet waste, manifested and miscellaneous waste.
• Collect yellow and blue bag trash hoppers when full, haul to processing area and empty into proper compactor. Use outside roll-offs to disposes of trash.
• Collect cardboard hoppers when full, haul to processing and load into baler.
• Operate cardboard baler when full and ready to make a bale. Assist with tracking inventory and scheduling of pick up. Load carboard trailer and collect paperwork as needed.
• Pick up pallets, wood waste, and load trailer as needed. Assist with tracking inventory.
• Collect and properly handle manifested wastes (i.e. hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste, universal waste, used oil, etc.), Assist with moving, storing, labeling, and loading waste.
• Assist supervisor with donation items and shipments.
• Ensure recycling loading and processing area is clean and maintained inside and outside, as needed.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of waste storage area.
• Assist with inventory management/logbook.
• Distribute containers in response to departmental requests.
• Other assigned duties or tasks
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 1 yr of similar work experience
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Lift comfortable 25lbs, 50lbs and 75 with assistance
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and safely
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift Operation Certification is a plus/training will be provided
