About the Role

As our Events Manager, you will lead how Agility shows up in the physical world. You will Down the strategy, design, and end-to-end execution of our global event footprint—from anchor industry expos to executive customer summits, press activations, and live technical demonstrations.

In robotics, events are far more than booth setups; they are high-stakes operational environments where prospects, partners, and media see Digit operating in real time. You will bridge creative storytelling, complex hardware logistics, and live technical staging, working directly with Engineering, Sales, Product Marketing, and Communications to deliver flawless experiential activations.

About the Work

Conference & Trade Show Management

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for Agility's presence at major industry events including robotics, manufacturing, logistics, and technology conferences (e.g., ProMat, MODEX, Hannover Messe, CES)
  • Manage vendor relationships, booth design and construction, shipping logistics, and on-site operations
  • Coordinate travel, accommodations, and scheduling for staff attending events
  • Track ROI and post-event reporting, providing actionable insights to marketing and sales leadership
  • Build and maintain a master events calendar and manage multi-event budgets

Product Launches & Demos

  • Plan and execute product launch events that generate media coverage, customer excitement, and industry buzz
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to coordinate live robot demonstrations—managing technical logistics, safety requirements, and demo scripts
  • Develop demo environments and experiential activations that compellingly communicate Agility's technology and mission
  • Partner with PR and communications and brand teams to align event messaging with broader launch campaigns
  • Manage invite lists, VIP experiences, press access, and stakeholder coordination for launch events
  • Support logistics of executive and thought leadership appearances at speaking engagements and panels

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with sales to align event strategy with pipeline goals and account-based marketing priorities
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to ensure consistent, on-brand presentation across all events
  • Brief internal teams and executives on event logistics, talking points, and objectives
  • Identify and evaluate new event opportunities that align with company growth targets

About You

  • 6+ years of events management experience, ideally in a B2B tech, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or startup environment
  • Proven track record managing large-scale trade shows and corporate events from concept to execution
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent vendor negotiation and budget management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you're comfortable working with engineers, executives, and partners alike
  • Experience with event management platforms and marketing tools (e.g., Cvent, HubSpot)
  • A creative eye for brand storytelling and experiential marketing
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where you'll often be building the playbook as you go

Bonus Points

  • Experience in robotics, automation, logistics tech, or deep tech industries

Location

  • This is a fully remote role with the option to work hybrid if a commutable distance from our Salem, OR, Pittsburgh, PA, or Fremont, CA offices.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range may change based on geographical location and may be modified in the future.

Anticipated Base Salary Range
$96,000—$124,000 USD
