Position Summary

As Sales & Events Coordinator, I am responsible for managing and executing private events, group reservations, and special functions across Elk Ave Hospitality. I support the growth of the business by building relationships, generating leads, planning details, and helping ensure each event exceeds guest expectations.

This role blends sales, planning, and hospitality. I serve as a key point of contact for guests before, during, and after their event while helping drive revenue growth and protect the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • As Sales & Events Coordinator, I proactively generate leads for private dining, corporate events, and social gatherings.
  • I respond promptly and professionally to inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • I prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts for events with clarity and attention to detail.
  • I build and maintain strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • I help grow event revenue by identifying opportunities and following through with consistency and professionalism.

Event Planning and Coordination

  • I manage events from initial inquiry through planning, execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • I collaborate with kitchen and service teams to help ensure seamless event delivery.
  • I manage event timelines, floor plans, guest counts, and special requests with strong attention to detail.
  • I support event setup and breakdown to help ensure each event is well organized and guest-ready.
  • I help create private dining and event experiences that are polished, memorable, and aligned with brand standards.

Guest Communication and Service

  • I serve as a primary point of contact for guests before, during, and after their experience.
  • I handle group reservations, VIP requests, and special event details with professionalism and care.
  • I respond promptly and thoughtfully to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • I track guest preferences and personalized experiences to help encourage repeat visits and lasting relationships.
  • I represent Elk Ave Hospitality with warmth, confidence, and strong follow-through.

Administrative Organization and Reporting

  • I maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, deposits, payments, and event details.
  • I track event performance and support regular reporting on sales activity and results.
  • I help ensure that event records and communication are organized, current, and easy to follow.
  • I support compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements as they relate to events.
  • I protect the details of the business through strong organization, communication, and accountability.

Qualifications
