Job Title:ย Events Manager

Location: Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY

Start Date:ย ASAP

The Lighthouse is an innovative campus for creators and their teams, with locations in Venice, CA, and Brooklyn, NY. We are a creative playground designed for creators to Learn, Make, and Belong. Our mission is to assemble the creator collective, helping them grow and sustain their careers while provoking the next act of the creator economy.

At The Lighthouse, creators flow seamlessly from ideation to production to publication, surrounded by peers in a collaborative and inspiring environment. Learn more: www.thelighthouse.com.

About the role:

We're looking for an Events Manager to lead the execution and operations behind the experiences that bring our Brooklyn campus to life.

From creator programming and community events to brand activations and private bookings, you'll own the full event lifecycle - managing logistics, production, vendors, guest experience, AV coordination, staffing, and on-site execution.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves live experiences, and knows how to bring structure and calm to moving pieces. You'll work cross-functionally with Programming, Marketing, Operations, AV, and Leadership teams to deliver events that feel polished, seamless, and reflective of The Lighthouse brand.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who can think strategically while still rolling up their sleeves to get things done.

Here's what you'll do day-to-day:
  • Lead end-to-end execution of events across member programming, partner activations, and external bookings
  • Build and manage run of show documents, BEOs, production timelines, staffing plans, and operational workflows
  • Serve as the on-site lead during events, ensuring a seamless guest, creator, and partner experience
  • Manage event logistics including guest lists, check-in flow, vendors, catering, staffing, rentals, and load-in/load-out
  • Partner closely with AV and production teams to coordinate technical execution across live events and studio programming
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Programming teams to ensure all event assets, communications, and promotional materials are delivered on time
  • Track event budgets, expenses, and P&Ls while maintaining strong operational and fiscal accountability
  • Maintain organized documentation, reporting, and post-event recaps across all programming
  • Support the continued growth of a best-in-class creator campus experience
Who Thrives Here:
  • Someone proactive who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • A calm, solutions-oriented operator who performs well under pressure
  • A hospitality-first professional with strong executional instincts
  • Someone who genuinely loves creators, culture, events, and community-building
  • A collaborative teammate with high standards and positive energy
What You'll Bring:
  • Passion for creators, culture, and community-building
  • A strong operational mindset paired with creativity and hospitality
  • High standards for execution, organization, and follow-through
  • Energy, professionalism, and executive presence
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front
  • The ability to create calm within chaos and momentum within ambiguity
  • A genuine desire to help build something special
Here's what we're looking for:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in event management, experiential, hospitality, production, or live events
  • Strong experience managing multiple events simultaneously in fast-moving environments
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, staffing, production timelines, budgets, and operational logistics
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, operational, and client-facing teams
  • Experience within hospitality, media, entertainment, creator economy, membership, or community-driven businesses is a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools or emerging technologies to improve workflows, communication, or operational efficiency

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 and serves as a general guideline for the potential compensation. The final salary offer will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors such as the candidate's experience, expertise, alignment with the position's requirements, and, ultimately, budget approvals.

The Perks:

The Lighthouse provides flexible benefits and collaborative work environments and experiences so employees can work productively in a setting that best and uniquely suits their needs:
