Event Sales Stylist

Position Overview:
POSH Couture Rentals is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Sales Stylist to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you will help bring weddings, social events, corporate events, and special celebrations to life by guiding clients through our curated collection of luxury event rentals. 
As a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, you will manage the rental process from initial consultation through final execution while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation & Event Design:
  • Conduct personalized showroom appointments with clients, event planners, and designers.
  • Curate rental selections that align with event themes, aesthetics, budgets, and logistical requirements.
  • Provide expert recommendations on tabletop décor, linens and specialty rental items.
  • Create inspiring design concepts and rental solutions that elevate the client experience.
Sales & Order Management:
  • Prepare and manage quotes, contracts, proposals, and rental orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain client records and event information within the company’s reservation systems.
  • Track order updates, revisions, and inventory availability throughout the planning process.
  • Ensure all event details are documented and communicated effectively.
Team Collaboration & Event Execution:
  • Partner closely with warehouse, delivery, and event operations teams to coordinate successful event installations and breakdowns.
  • Confirm inventory availability and address logistical considerations before event dates.
  • Support smooth execution by proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the planning process.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, order modifications, and event-related requests.
  • Deliver exceptional service while maintaining strong relationships with event planners, venues, and repeat clients.
  • Handle last-minute adjustments with professionalism and composure.
Showroom Presentation:
  • Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.
  • Ensure displays are updated to showcase new collections, seasonal offerings, and current design trends.
  • Assist with merchandising and visual presentation to inspire clients during consultations.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of event design, tablescapes, décor styling, and full-service event rentals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished and professional presence.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in catering, event rentals, event planning, luxury hospitality, interior design or high end retail sales. 
  • Proven experience working directly with clients in a consultative sales environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily based in a showroom and office environment, with occasional travel to event venues and client sites.
  • Ability to lift and move sample products or décor items as needed.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak-season hours based on event schedules and client needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 base (depending on experience).
