Job description

The Design Intern supports the design and office teams with a blend of creative and administrative tasks. This role contributes to the development of visual materials, presentations, and design research while assisting with day-to-day office coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional design environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation and formatting of design presentations, including PowerPoint decks and visual materials
  • Support design research by gathering inspiration, trends, and competitive analysis relevant to company projects
  • Help prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, files, and digital assets
  • Collaborate with team members to develop concept boards, layouts, and basic design drafts
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties such as data entry, document formatting, and file management
  • Take notes during meetings and assist in compiling project summaries, drafts, and reports
  • Manage and update internal databases and project tracking systems
  • Coordinate and organize meeting spaces, materials, and calendars for design reviews and presentations
  • Assist with general office tasks including answering phones, directing inquiries, and handling mail or deliveries
  • Attend team meetings, company events, and networking opportunities to gain industry exposure
