Event Cleanup information

What are some common challenges faced by event cleanup crews, and how can they be managed effectively?

Event cleanup crews often encounter challenges such as tight turnaround times, large volumes of waste, and coordination with other event staff. Managing these challenges involves clear communication with the event organizer, efficient division of responsibilities among team members, and familiarity with recycling and disposal procedures. Staying organized, using proper equipment, and anticipating high-traffic areas can help ensure the cleanup process runs smoothly and meets venue requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an event cleanup worker?

To thrive as an Event Cleanup worker, you need physical stamina, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety protocols, often with prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, waste disposal procedures, and sometimes OSHA regulations is typically required. Reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential soft skills for efficiently coordinating with others and meeting tight deadlines. These skills ensure that event venues are promptly restored to a clean, safe state, contributing to client satisfaction and event success.

What is an event cleanup?

Event cleanup jobs involve cleaning and restoring venues before, during, and after events like concerts, festivals, conferences, and sports games. Workers are responsible for tasks such as collecting trash, recycling, sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and ensuring the area is left in good condition. These roles often require working late hours or on weekends, depending on the event schedule, and may involve both indoor and outdoor settings.

Ambassador | Part-Time
Vista at Montaine & Regency at Montaine | Castle Rock, Colorado
$20/hour

Collaboration. Authenticity. Connection. Balance.
At Cohere, we believe community is the most valuable amenity.
We do more than manage communities-we help create places where people connect, belong, and thrive. By partnering with some of the nation's most innovative master-planned communities, we create places residents are proud to call home and where meaningful relationships flourish.
We're hiring two part-time Ambassadors to support our Montaine communities in Castle Rock, Colorado:
Vista at Montaine is a premier resort-style master-planned community where breathtaking views, thoughtfully designed amenities, and outdoor adventure come together to create an exceptional resident experience.
Regency at Montaine is a vibrant active adult community where residents enjoy exceptional amenities, engaging programs, and meaningful opportunities to connect with their neighbors.
Each Ambassador will primarily support one community while serving as the face of the community-similar to a front desk associate, concierge, or customer service representative. You'll create a welcoming and memorable experience for residents and guests, serve as a trusted resource, support events and activities, and help ensure community amenities remain inviting, organized, and enjoyable.
This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, make a visible impact, and contribute to a community where connection, hospitality, and resident experience are at the heart of everyday life.
If you enjoy helping people, creating positive experiences, staying engaged, and being part of a collaborative team, we'd love to meet you.
Why People Choose Cohere

Provide Administrative Support
  • Update community calendars, bulletin boards, and displays
