We are hiring Seasonal Event Parking Attendants across Ball Arena, Empower Field, and Centennial Stadium for the upcoming season!

Posting Duration: Open Continuous

Compensation: $20/hr - $21/hr

Schedule: Seasonal, Part-Time

The Spirit of the Position:

Are you passionate about sports and entertainment? Looking for a flexible, seasonal gig with exciting opportunities across Denver's biggest venues?

The Event Staff is the front-line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers entering and exiting our facilities including Ball Arena, Empower Field, and Centennial Stadium. The position requires cash handling, correct change, monitoring transactions for traffic entering/exiting the facility, and ensuring that people enter and exit safely.

You are:

  • Willing and able to work across multiple venue locations as events are scheduled.

What will I do?

  • Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and excellent customer service.
  • Collect parking fees and provide the correct change.
  • Understand and know how to handle different types of parkers, i.e., tenants, visitors, employees, administration, etc.
  • Understand the surroundings and building area at each venue to answer questions.
  • Complete the daily report.
  • Assist in staffing the exit or entry booth during peak collection hours to facilitate exit/entry should problems occur.
  • Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
  • Answer customer service questions concerning parking; refer questions to the supervisor when applicable.
  • Determine traffic flow in times of equipment failure or during periods of construction.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
  • Field additional duties if assigned.

Experience:

  • Strong customer service experience required.
  • Cash handling/credit card transaction experience required.

Skills:

  • Willingness to be flexible and work across multiple facility locations (Ball Arena, Empower Field, Centennial Stadium).
  • Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
