Reports To: Event Manager / Assistant Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Stagehand / Events Assistant to support our dynamic team in ensuring smooth and successful events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for live events, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to contribute to various aspects of event setup and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup and Teardown: Assist in the setup and breakdown of rental spaces, including staging, lighting, sound, hospitality and other necessary components.
  • Technical Assistance: Operation of Lighting and Sound Boards is required, as well as a basic understanding of other Lighting and Audio Equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Assist with the reset of event materials and supplies, ensuring everything is organized and returned to its designated place.
  • Attendee Assistance: Provide assistance to patrons as needed, including answering questions and directing them to appropriate areas.
  • General Support: Perform other tasks as needed to support the successful execution of events, including assisting with special requests from event organizers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in stagehand or event support roles is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of stage equipment and event logistics is beneficial. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
