Job description


Verisk's Experiential Marketing team creates the moments where our brand, solutions, clients, partners, and people come together. From industry tradeshows and flagship conferences to hosted client engagements, employee experiences, sponsorship programs, and immersive activations, this team designs high-impact experiences that build relationships, strengthen market presence, and drive measurable business value.
As a Sr. Specialist, Experiential Marketing - Engagement Strategy & Experience Design, you'll help shape how attendees, sponsors, partners, prospects, and internal stakeholders experience Verisk across a broad portfolio of more than 300 annual events. This role is part strategist, part experience designer, and part project driver-ideal for someone who loves turning business goals into thoughtful, engaging, and well-executed event experiences.
In this role, you'll partner closely with the Engagement Strategy Manager and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Creative, Corporate Communications, business units, event planning, analytics, and external vendors. You'll support engagement strategies for tradeshows, conferences, hosted experiences, employee programs, sponsorships, Solutions Gallery experiences, event technology, content planning, and post-event measurement-helping ensure every experience is aligned, audience-focused, and built to deliver outcomes.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced event or experiential marketer who is ready to grow beyond execution into broader strategy, audience engagement, stakeholder influence, and performance-driven event design. You'll contribute to large-scale flagship programs while also helping build the frameworks, tools, insights, and best practices that make Verisk's experiential marketing function more scalable, consistent, and effective.
The position requires an in-office presence of 2-3 days per week, with additional onsite support as needed for events. Candidates should be comfortable traveling up to 20% and working occasional overtime or irregular hours to support event schedules and business needs.
Responsibilities
Event Engagement Strategy & Experience Design
Support the development and execution of engagement strategies across Verisk's event portfolio, including:
  • Partner with the Engagement Strategy Manager to develop attendee engagement strategies for tradeshows, conferences, hosted events, and employee experiences
  • Support the design and evolution of attendee journeys, identifying opportunities to improve audience engagement before, during, and after events
  • Assist in the development of experiential concepts, activations, networking opportunities, and engagement programs that align with business objectives
  • Contribute to the planning and growth of the Emerging Professionals program and other audience-specific initiatives
  • Support exhibit and booth experience planning, including messaging alignment, audience flow, engagement opportunities, and experience optimization
  • Research industry trends, competitive activations, and emerging experiential best practices to inform future event strategies
  • Collaborate with teams across Marketing (e.g., Account-Based Marketing, Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing, and Corporate Communications) to identify opportunities, share insights, and develop experiences that strengthen Verisk's presence and differentiation in the market (both domestically and internationally)

Sponsorships, Partnerships & Solutions Gallery Strategy
Support sponsorship and partner engagement programs across flagship and industry events, including:
  • Assist in the development of sponsorship packages, benefits, and activation opportunities
  • Support sponsor and exhibitor communication plans, fulfillment tracking, and deliverable management
  • Coordinate planning timelines, budgets, and deliverables for Solutions Gallery and partner engagement programs
  • Support vendor sourcing, partner relationships, and budget tracking for Solutions Gallery and experiential activations
  • Track sponsorship assets, requirements, and fulfillment to ensure a positive partner experience
  • Support onsite sponsor, exhibitor, and solutions gallery experience execution as needed

Event Technology & Measurement Strategy
Support the adoption and optimization of event technology and measurement programs, including:
  • Collaborate with event technology, Cvent, and analytics teams to support engagement-focused technology initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating new event technologies, attendee engagement tools, and experiential innovations
  • Support data collection and reporting efforts across events
  • Develop post-event reports, dashboards, and insights to measure attendee engagement, sponsor value, and event performance
  • Analyze attendee behavior, satisfaction, and engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Help maintain measurement frameworks and KPI standards across experiential programs

Content Strategy & Stakeholder Communications
Support strategic planning and cross-functional alignment efforts, including:
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and planning calendars for assigned initiatives
  • Assist with content planning processes in partnership with integrated marketing and business stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder communications, meeting notes, action items, and project documentation
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning activities with integrated marketing, sales, creative, and business teams
  • Support executive presentations, planning documents, and strategic recommendations
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and stakeholders remain informed throughout the planning process

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Events, Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
Corporate Events Professional (5+ years)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in experiential marketing, event marketing, tradeshow marketing, sponsorship marketing, conference management, or a related field
  • Experience supporting strategic event programs, conferences, tradeshows, sponsorships, or exhibit marketing initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience presenting recommendations, insights, or project updates to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Experience developing project plans, timelines, and cross-functional communications
  • Experience working with vendors, agencies, sponsors, exhibitors, or event technology partners
  • Familiarity with attendee engagement strategies, sponsorship programs, event technology platforms, and measurement frameworks
  • Experience working within a matrixed corporate environment and supporting multiple business stakeholders
  • Experience with event technology platforms including Cvent and related event engagement tools preferred
  • PMP, CMP, CEM, or other relevant certifications are a plus
