Title: Event & Tenant Experience Coordinator

Job Description:

Samuels & Associates is seeking a full-time Event & Tenant Experience Coordinator to support programming, tenant engagement, and community activations at Lyrik Back Bay.

At the heart of Lyrik is a multi-level open-air plaza that connects office, retail, dining, and hospitality in one of Boston’s most dynamic neighborhoods. This role will help bring that environment to life, coordinating tenant-facing experiences within the building while also supporting public programming and activations in the plaza.

The Event & Tenant Experience Coordinator will serve as a key on-site resource for event coordination, tenant requests, and day-to-day programming logistics. Working closely with Property Management and the Marketing team, this individual will help ensure that Lyrik consistently delivers high-quality experiences for tenants, visitors, and the broader community.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Tenant Events & Building Experience

  • Coordinate tenant-facing events and initiatives within the building, including wellness events, networking gatherings, seasonal programming, and community activations.
  • Assist tenants with booking and coordinating amenity spaces, conference rooms, and shared event areas.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant event logistics including setup, A/V needs, space configuration, and coordination with building operations.
  • Help cultivate a strong tenant community by supporting engagement initiatives and ongoing programming.

Plaza Programming & Public Activations

  • Support the execution of public-facing events and activations in the Lyrik plaza in partnership with the Marketing team.
  • Assist with event logistics including vendor coordination, rentals, A/V, signage, and on-site operations.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact during activations to ensure smooth execution and a positive guest experience.
  • Support seasonal programming initiatives that reinforce Lyrik as a destination within Back Bay.

Event Operations & Logistics

  • Coordinate event setup and breakdown, including signage placement, furniture arrangements, deliveries, and materials.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Security, and Janitorial teams to support event logistics.
  • Ensure all events comply with building policies, permitting requirements, and insurance guidelines.
  • Maintain organization of event storage areas, supplies, and programming materials.

Marketing & Content Support

  • Work with the Marketing team to support promotion of events and activations.
  • Assist with gathering event content (photos/video) for social media and marketing channels.
  • Provide logistical support for marketing-driven activations and special initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours is required based on programming and special event schedules. Events may take place indoors and outdoors.
  • 1-3 years of experience with event management in event coordination, hospitality, venue management, or experiential marketing (including internships or contract roles).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in guest-facing or hospitality environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams while also operating independently when needed.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and social media platforms.


This position may require breaking down and setting up physical items that we host. Applicants must have the ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to (approx.) 25-35 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the property.
