Job description

Our Purpose

Wee Care offers Therapy Services and Home and Community-Based Services using evidence-based treatment models to help your loved one achieve and maintain the highest level of independence. Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006.

Position Summary

Wee Care Corp is seeking a Contract Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver client-centered speech and language services aligned to individualized treatment plans. This role exists to support measurable communication progress through consistent, evidence-based implementation.
Key responsibilities include providing direct therapy services as delegated, completing screenings using established protocols, maintaining clear and timely documentation of patient progress, and developing or adapting therapy materials that keep sessions structured and engaging.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Valid ASHA SLPA certification or completion of an approved SLPA program
- Strong written and verbal communication for accurate documentation
- Willing to travel to clients’ homes and/or provide teletherapy

How Your Day Flows

Your schedule is built around after-school, evening, and weekend availability, with in-home visits. You will review the day’s session notes, organize digital resources, and set up materials so each appointment starts on time. Between sessions, you’ll update records, track outcomes against plan goals, and coordinate next steps with the supervising team to keep care consistent. The day ends with confirming upcoming appointments and ensuring documentation is complete and ready for follow-up.
