Job Description

What you will do:
Lead the Tri-County Health Department Nurse Support Program in Arapahoe County. 

The Nurse Support Program Activities include:

  • supervising the public health nurses providing home visitation to families referred by Arapahoe County Human Services.
  • managing county contractual deliverables.
  • promoting comprehensive public health nursing interventions for families in crisis.
  • coordinating community partnerships to improve services for children and youth with special health care needs.
  • participating in contractual planning and home visitation programming.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.  Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision, preferably Reflective Supervision practice
  • Demonstrated experience leading effective teams
  • Related experience working with multi-disciplinary partners, agencies or programs

Knowledge of:

  • Reflective Supervision or operative coaching skills
  • Principles of nursing practice
  • Home visitation practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of community-based resources and supports
  • Principles of program planning including quality improvement design and monitoring
  • Program management including contract deliverables, billing and invoicing
  • Principles and practices of multi-agency collaboration and contractual agreements
  • Computer applications used in data collection and
  • functional analysis of health data.

Special Qualifications:

A valid Colorado Driver's License with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle.

Additional Information

Salary Range:  $38.55 - $48.20/hour
