Job description

The Adult Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt offers a continuum of services for individuals experiencing mood and thought disorders such as schizophrenia and substance-induced psychosis.

What to expect.

You will provide compassionate care to individuals experiencing thought disorders. No evening or weekend hours are required.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
  • Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
  • Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care.

What we need from you.

  • Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
    • Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
    • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

    The pay range for this position is $32/hourly - $40/hourly. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
