Job description

Position Overview

Impact Learning & Development Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our outpatient team in a flexible remote setting. This full-time position is designed for driven professionals looking to make a significant impact in the mental health field while enjoying the autonomy of a work-from-home environment. Our ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree and have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing therapy services.

About the Organization

Impact Learning & Development Behavioral Health is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. With a focus on effective, evidence-based treatment strategies, our organization prides itself on a collaborative culture that empowers therapists to deliver high-quality care. We believe in the importance of professional development and provide resources to foster clinical excellence and personal growth.

Work Environment

This is a remote position allowing for flexibility in your work schedule, fostering a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. While the operational base is in Rancho Cucamonga, California, our team is united by a common mission: to provide exceptional care and support to those in need. You'll be part of a supportive network that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement through weekly check-ins and virtual team meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client evaluations to assess mental health needs and develop individualized care plans tailored to each personโ€™s unique circumstances.
  • Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, applying therapeutic techniques and methodologies suited to the needs of the participants.
  • Provide specialized support for individuals dealing with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and various other behavioral challenges, ensuring that each client receives compassionate and effective care.
  • Maintain meticulous and organized documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes to meet ethical standards and compliance regulations.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist with Impact Learning & Development, you will work with a diverse patient population primarily composed of adults experiencing various mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety disorders, and relational problems. The outpatient nature of our services enables you to engage with clients in real-time, fostering a therapeutic relationship focused on growth, recovery, and skill-building.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license in California is essential for this role.
  • A solid background in therapy and case management, with a comprehensive understanding of treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills to effectively manage client caseloads and documentation.
  • A commitment to staying abreast of the latest developments and innovations within the mental health field, including knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods.
Preferred Experience

Though a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, additional experience working in outpatient settings or with specialized therapeutic techniques will be beneficial. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and group therapy facilitation is also advantageous, as it enhances your ability to connect with and support clients throughout their therapeutic journey.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 85,000 to 117,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer comprehensive health insurance options, a generous paid time off policy, and flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle. Our organizational culture prioritizes your well-being and professional development.

At Impact Learning & Development, we prioritize the growth of our employees. We provide ongoing professional development, including access to workshops, certification programs, and mentorship opportunities designed to enhance your clinical skills and expand your career trajectory. Opportunities for advancement into supervisory or specialized roles will be available based on your interests and performance.
