As an LCSW at Lifespan Psychiatric Services, your role will be multifaceted, encompassing:

• Conducting thorough assessments to ascertain clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs through structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients facing various life challenges, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaboratively developing and implementing individualized service plans that align with clients' personal goals, ensuring a client-centered approach tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Advocating for clients by securing access to necessary resources and supporting their rights, while addressing pertinent social justice issues that impede their progress.
• Contributing actively to program development, evaluation practices, and grant reporting to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability of services.
• Building collaborative partnerships with community organizations, governmental agencies, and local stakeholders to enhance the network of services available to clients.
• Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities, promoting our services and engaging with the community effectively.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds who are experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, and systemic barriers. Your contributions will help facilitate positive outcomes, enhancing both individual well-being and community resilience.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, social justice advocacy, and community resources.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to empathetically engage clients.
• Solid organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases and priorities effectively.

While not required, candidates with prior experience in nonprofit settings, community mental health facilities, or similar environments will be highly regarded. Familiarity with grant writing, program evaluation, and community outreach initiatives will further strengthen your application.
