Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.


Shifts Available:

Evening overnight and weekend shifts available


Duties:

  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Skills:

  • Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises using CCTV systems.
  • Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights.
  • CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed.
  • Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
