Job Description
  • The Security Officer is responsible for policing hospital facilities
  • Providing security checks at front entrance, detaining and questioning
  • Responds to fire alerts
  • Ability to monitor Close Circuit TV
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
Job Requirements
  • Previous law enforcement experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • N.Y.S. Security Officer License, current 8 Hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate & initial 16 Hour on the Job Security Guard Training Certificate
  • N.Y.S. Drivers License
  • BCLS via American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of CCTV and Radio
