Part-Time Receptionist

Pleasant Hill Post Acute is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team.

Schedule: Sunday & Monday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19-$22 per hour
Position: Part-Time

General Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to warmly greet and assist visitors, answer telephone calls, and provide general clerical support within the Reception/Administrative area.

This position is strictly administrative and clerical. There are no clinical duties or responsibilities of any kind.

Essential Duties

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.

  • Greet and welcome residents, patients, families, visitors, and other guests with a friendly and positive demeanor.

  • Answer telephone calls, take messages, and direct or forward calls appropriately.

  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to designated areas.

  • Inform appropriate employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations.

  • Maintain an accurate visitor sign-in log.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.

  • Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings.

  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.

  • Maintain professionalism and a courteous demeanor when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Protect residents' confidential and protected health information (PHI) and promptly report any known or suspected unauthorized disclosure to the Administrator.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information and report known or suspected incidents involving unauthorized disclosure.

Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Dependable and punctual.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
