Salary: $21-31

Position:Med Passer - PRN Day/Evening Shift
Hours:Days 6:30AM - 2:45PM, Evenings 2:30PM - 10:45 PM, some weekends and holidays.
Location:Omega House

Position Summary:
The PRN day/evening shift aide provides direct care, medication passing and support to residents. This role ensures resident safety, comfort, and well-being, while assisting with daily needs and monitoring throughout the shift. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and attentive to the unique needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and assistance to residents during the day/evening shift, including personal hygiene, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Monitor resident safety and well-being, responding promptly to calls, needs, or emergencies.
  • Document care and activities accurately according to Omega House policies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • RN's, LPN's and CNA's licensure or certification required.
  • Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently during night hours.
  • Compassion, patience, and respect for residents dignity and privacy.
