Job description

Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Evening/ Weekends/ Rotating Shifts
Hours Per Week: 40 hrs.
Hiring range: Starting at $44.35 hourly. (This rate includes the shift differentials and the $2.00/hrly)
The posted pay range contains shift differentials. Registered Nurses (RN's) are eligible for additional compensation based on the shifts worked.
  • Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
  • Weekday night shift - an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
  • Weekend day shift - an additional 10%
  • Weekend evening & night shifts - an additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
This position does offer experience bonuses, RN candidates that apply with 3 - 5 years' experience they will receive an experience bonus of $4,000. (The first half is dispersed at time of hire, the other is upon one year anniversary of employment).
Responsibilities:
• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing
  • NRP and ACLS within 6 months.
  • Experienced Labor & Delivery Nurse

Complexity of Work:
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
