We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, confident Healthcare Quality Coordinator to join our team. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys reviewing details, working with data, identifying patterns, giving constructive feedback, and helping teams improve their processes.

Note: This is an onsite, Monday–Friday position based at our New Orleans Corporate Headquarters.

The Healthcare Quality Coordinator supports the Quality Assurance team with process improvement initiatives, training, and trend identification across our network of clinical research sites. This role helps maintain clinical trial data integrity and ensures that sites remain audit-ready at all times.

This is not traditional manufacturing or production-line quality assurance. You'll work in a clinical environment where quality is nuanced, collaboration matters, and good judgment is as important as following established requirements. You should be genuinely interested in a quality-focused, non-patient-facing role.

• Complete Quality Assurance chart reviews, ensuring consistency, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Confirm that clinical trial protocols are followed consistently
• Review clinical trial information and processes to identify issues, trends, and opportunities to prevent recurring problems
• Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with clinical teams across our site network
• Maintain a working knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP/ICH guidelines, organizational SOPs, guidance documents, and study protocols
• Develop plans for the timely correction of electronic source errors
• Support inter- and intra-site consistency in source completion
• Manage and report charting trends to leadership
• Communicate findings clearly and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
• Assist with training for clinical teams and the Quality Assurance department
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager with internal team training, reports, and management tasks related to Quality Assurance Coordinators
• Ask questions, seek input, and escalate concerns to the appropriate teammate when needed

• Required: At least 1 year of healthcare experience or comparable exposure through work, internships, volunteering, or clinical shadowing; candidates should be comfortable with basic medical terminology and able to discuss their experience with medical histories, medications, vital signs, EKGs, or other clinical procedures
• Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in any field
• Required: Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Experience collaborating as part of a team and giving, receiving, and acting on feedback
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in understanding why problems happen
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions and learn
• Genuine interest in building and applying your clinical quality skills with the team over time

The following experience may help you get up to speed, but prior Quality Assurance or clinical research experience is not required:

• Clinical research or healthcare operations
• Medical terminology, medications, medical histories, or medical chart review
• Taking vital signs, observing or performing EKGs, or participating in clinical procedures
• Quality assurance, auditing, data review, compliance, or process improvement
• Working independently, managing competing priorities, or running projects or a business

• Be self-motivated, energetic, and positive
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable speaking with internal and external stakeholders and leaders
• Work autonomously with a high level of self-accountability while knowing when to seek input or escalate concerns
• Make client satisfaction a primary focus and help clients achieve and exceed their goals
• Believe in high-quality work and maintain a high standard of compliance with study protocols
• Be remarkably organized, with effective time-management skills
• Be skilled at problem-solving and focused on solutions
• Manage multiple tasks and clinical trials efficiently

• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.

Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
