ย This contract position is an on-site opportunity that allows you to contribute significantly to patient care in a thriving medical practice environment.

As a Rheumatologist, you will provide specialized medical services focusing on diagnosing and treating conditions related to joints, muscles, and bones. Your expertise will help us enhance our patient care and treatment protocols, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards in our practice.ย 

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for patients with rheumatologic conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Perform joint injections and other procedural interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay current with advancements in rheumatology practices and treatments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rheumatology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration

Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 7a-5p

Call Requirement: 1:3 weekend and rotating evening coverage

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Volume: ~18 patients

Annual Volume: ~2k visits

Support Staff: 2 rheumatologists and more 10+ orthopedic providers

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
