Job description

Delivery Driver & Warehouse Specialist | Davenport, IA

Build your career with a Midwest industry leader. At this leading distribution company, we don’t just move boxes; we power the comfort of our community. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants more than "just a job." If you have a grit-meets-growth mindset and take pride in precision, we want to invest in you.

The Role: Why You Matter

As a Delivery & Warehouse Specialist, you are the backbone of our operations. You ensure our customers get the right parts at the right time. This is a dynamic, Monday through Friday position—no overnights, no weekends—supporting our sales team, managing inventory, and representing our brand on the road.

Essential Functions
  • Local Deliveries: Safely operate company vehicles (Non-CDL) to ensure customers receive products on time. All deliveries are same-day; you’ll be home every evening.

  • Logistics & Flow: Load and unload trucks safely. Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.

  • Freight & Stocking: Check in incoming freight and stock products with precision.

  • Order Accuracy: Pull parts accurately for customer orders and branch transfers using our warehouse management systems.

  • Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and maintain an organized, efficient warehouse environment.

  • Physicality: Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift in a warehouse environment.

  • Process Improvement: We value your brain, not just your brawn. Help us find better ways to streamline our workflow.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • The Basics: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

  • Skillset: Experience with local deliveries, professional communication skills for job-site interactions, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.

  • Tech Literacy: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems for inventory tracking.

  • Mindset: A "team-first" attitude and the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliability: Punctuality and a dedicated work ethic to see daily challenges through to positive results.

The "Why Us" Factor

We believe in Traditional Values and Modern Growth. Our culture is built on accountability, honesty, and "Others-first" solutions.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Premium Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.

  • Financial Security: A generous 401(k) plan with company matching to help secure your future.

  • Paid Time Off: Generous vacation and holiday pay because we value your life outside of work.

  • Career Pathing: We prioritize training and cross-training to keep you challenged and moving up within the company.

  • Real Impact: Your voice is heard. We communicate regularly across all departments—no silos here.

Ready to join the team?

If you have a clean driving record, local delivery experience, and the drive to grow with a local leader, we are interested in talking to you.
