Part-Time Shuttle Driver – Toyota of Iowa City

Location: Iowa City, IA
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM–5:30 PM

About the Opportunity

Toyota of Iowa City is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Part-Time Shuttle Driver to support our busy service department. This position plays an important role in the customer experience by providing safe, professional, and convenient transportation for customers while their vehicles are being serviced.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, interacting with people, and staying active throughout the day. Experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, professional driver, valet, porter, transportation driver, or customer service professional is helpful, but not required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable safely driving a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and follow transportation schedules
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a service team
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Previous shuttle, delivery, transportation, valet, porter, or customer service experience preferred, but not required

What You’ll Do

• Safely shuttle customers to and from Toyota of Iowa City while their vehicles are being serviced
• Pick up and deliver customer vehicles for service appointments as needed
• Provide friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to help keep customer transportation running efficiently
• Safely operate and transport a variety of customer vehicles
• Help maintain a clean and welcoming customer lounge and service drive
• Refill coffee and customer amenities as needed
• Assist the service department with additional transportation and support responsibilities as needed
