Job-Specific Expectations

Electronically allocate items to the appropriate locations as they are received.

Inspect and compare content of shipments with the original invoice and order.

Manage merchandise and inventory for all departments.

Monitor orders to be sure that they are filled correctly.

Organize and stage orders according to department.

Make sure orders are processed on the same day they are received.

Analyze dealers categories.

Maintain only one door for receiving orders.

File pack slips and invoices in an organized manner

Document all information regarding each shipment, including charges, damages, and weight.

Print out exception reports and pack list.

Package, seal, label, and attach proper postage to ready material for shipping.

Print labels.

Conduct stock clerk duties, including marking and stocking shipping items.

Determine best shipping methods by assessing shipping rates and routes.

Become familiar with and utilize technical equipment and computers to complete duties.

Have a designated receiving location which is secure.

Communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors, other dealers and vendors.

Control and move inventory.
