Master Control Operator  

Job at a Glance 

  • Title: Master Control Services Technician 

  • Location: Centennial, CO  

  • Schedule: varies based on when teams are playing 

  • Contract: W2 only, 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time  

  • Pay: $30/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match 

Overview 

This role involves supporting live MLB games. The position requires working during the baseball season, with shifts varying between day and evening hours, including support across multiple time zones. The team will handle live game operations, including pre-game preparation, live coverage, and post-game reporting. The role offers opportunities for permanent placement based on performance. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare for and support live game coverage, including pre-game setup, live operation, and post-game reporting. 

  • Track sponsorships as they appear on air, maintaining focus and attention to detail. 

  • Adapt to changing schedules, including evening and night shifts, and support in different time zones. 

  • Maintain professionalism and focus under pressure, especially during weather delays or extended commercial breaks. 

  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines, working under immediate supervision. 

  • Demonstrate quick learning and application of training in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Engage actively, avoid distractions such as cell phones, and stay attentive during games. 

  • Communicate effectively within a direct team environment, accepting constructive criticism. 

Required Skills 

  • Background in master control or live event production, preferably in sports. 

  • Experience in production or sports-related roles.
