Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced BMC Remedy / Helix Developer to support the development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BMC Remedy/Helix development, ITSM modules, system integrations, and production support while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, enhance, and support BMC Remedy/Helix applications and workflows.
• Configure and maintain ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, and CMDB.
• Design and develop custom forms, Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Approval Workflows, and Notifications.
• Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST and SOAP web services and middleware platforms.
• Perform defect analysis, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and implementation activities.
• Support data migration, environment promotion, release management, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with offshore development teams and provide technical guidance as required.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
• Ensure solutions align with ITSM best practices and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of BMC Remedy/Helix development experience.
• Strong experience with BMC AR System, Remedy Developer Studio, ITSM Suite, CMDB, and Smart IT/Helix Platform.
• Experience developing custom workflows, forms, filters, escalations, and approval processes.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST and SOAP web services.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with BMC Helix SaaS implementations or migration projects.
• Experience supporting highly customized BMC Remedy applications in large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, Jira, or other enterprise integration platforms.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Certifications
