Evaluation Assistant information

What is an evaluation assistant?

Evaluation Assistants are professionals who support the planning, implementation, and analysis of evaluation projects within organizations or research settings. Their responsibilities often include collecting and organizing data, assisting in the development of surveys or assessment tools, and preparing reports or presentations. They work closely with evaluation specialists or project managers to ensure that evaluation activities are carried out efficiently and that findings are accurately reported. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an evaluation assistant?

To thrive as an Evaluation Assistant, you typically need a background in research methods, data analysis, and report writing, often supported by a degree in social sciences or a related field. Familiarity with data analysis software like SPSS, Excel, or Qualtrics is common, and experience with survey tools or basic statistical techniques is advantageous. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication are important soft skills for managing multiple tasks and collaborating with teams. These skills and qualities ensure accurate data collection, clear reporting, and successful project outcomes in evaluation settings.

What are the main challenges evaluation assistants face when collecting and analyzing data?

Evaluation Assistants often encounter challenges such as ensuring the accuracy and consistency of collected data, managing tight deadlines, and adapting to evolving project requirements. They must pay close attention to detail when entering or reviewing data to avoid errors that could impact findings. Additionally, Evaluation Assistants frequently collaborate with team members from different departments, requiring strong communication skills to clarify data needs and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Trusted by 1000's businesses and powered by a global talent pool and our proprietary Wing AI platform, we help startups, SMBs, and enterprises move faster and do more with less.

Our growth is fueled by hiring exceptional people, holding them to high standards, and giving them room to make an impact. If you're hungry for growth and ready to get to work, you won't find a better place to learn and accelerate your career.

  • Tailor outreach to each prospect's goals and business model; master the Wing story and articulate our value in offloading repetitive work, scaling teams affordably, and increasing capacity and revenue.

  • Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, the web, and other sources; keep clean, accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM.
  • Proactively stay current on the AI, staffing, and outsourcing landscape, and share market feedback with Sales, Marketing, and Product to sharpen messaging and cadences.

  • CRM discipline: clean data, updated stages, notes your AEs can actually use.
  • Strong work ethic, competitiveness with yourself, and an eagerness to learn you track your numbers, know your conversion rates, and treat every "no" as a signal about messaging, timing, or targeting.
  • Nice to have: experience selling AI, SaaS, or staffing/BPO/outsourced services.
$40,000 - $50,000 a year

Benefits

  • Salary 40k to 50k/year  + On-Target Earnings (~20k to uncapped)
