This leader also is responsible for leading the materials replenishment for NJ location - working with corporate purchasing and plant production with responsibility to ensure materials are delivered to point-of-use per standard work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory using ERP reports and pull inventory concepts to support production requirements, while coordinating replenishment with Corporate Purchasing to ensure inventory accuracy, compliance, and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Oversee all warehouse, shipping, receiving, storage, and material replenishment operations, ensuring timely movement of materials to production lines, inventory control, product loss prevention, accurate shipping/receiving, and adherence to established standard work.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through cycle count programs, inventory reporting, scrap processing, and continuous monitoring of inventory accuracy, with the long-term objective of achieving cycle count certification.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve productivity, optimize replenishment methods, and standardize warehouse and material handling processes.
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse and receiving personnel by assigning work, monitoring performance, motivating employees, and fostering a safe, productive, and high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational goals, maximize warehouse efficiency, and ensure effective planning, organization, delegation, and execution of daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies, GMPs, OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, SQF requirements, food safety standards, and workplace safety practices, while maintaining the knowledge necessary to recognize, prevent, and address food safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling experience, with 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control, cycle counting, material replenishment, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, motivate, and develop employees while effectively assigning and monitoring daily work activities.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, maintain inventory accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Purchasing, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), SQF, and food safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and quality-focused work environment.
