Job description

Description
The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a visiting position to teach Ethics in Business in the spring semester of 2027. Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in management, organizational behavior, organization theory, business ethics, or related fields from an AACSB accredited university and prior experience teaching Ethics. The position will involve responsibility for teaching two sections of the course to our MBA students and one section to our EMBA students. The MBA course will meet twice a week over a seven-week period during the first half of the spring semester. The EMBA course will meet on Saturdays during the same period.
The Owen Graduate School of Management is engaged in graduate and undergraduate management education, with an enrollment of over 600 students in its MBA, Executive MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Accountancy, Master of Marketing, and Master of Management in Health Care programs. In addition, Owen faculty members teach in the Vanderbilt University undergraduate business minor. Founded in 1873, Vanderbilt University is an internationally recognized research university with a student body of some 13,500 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, and approximately 1,500 full-time faculty (excluding faculty employed by the Medical Center), of whom 55 have their primary appointment at Owen. Vanderbilt University is situated on a 330-acre campus located a mile and a half south of downtown Nashville.
