Job description

The Resident Service Coordinator position is the management office "Ambassador" to the tenants. Bridge Property Management's image is reflected in the attitude, appearance, and image portrayed by the Resident Service Coordinator. This position also serves as the primary Accounts Payable support for the community by processing invoices and assisting with property accounting functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Office administrative functionsCoordinating tenant requestsWorking with maintenance team to resolve requestsInput information into computer systems accurately and timelyArrange and plan various events and classesAssist in planning resident functionsManage and respond to online reviewsConduct resident follow-ups and walk-throughs as neededCreate and maintain the monthly marketing calendarSend resident blast emails and community communicationsPurchase and maintain office supplies and hospitality itemsTake and distribute weekly meeting notes

Financial and Accounting Functions

  • Process vendor invoices for payment (Accounts Payable)
  • Request vendor and utility statements as needed
  • Complete journal entries, reclasses, and accruals
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation
  • Support accounts receivable and daily/monthly cash receipts and disbursements
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Support accounting functions excluding payroll-related responsibilities

Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal lawsFollow all safety procedures and notify supervisor of safety hazardsSpecial projects and other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent customer service skillsAbility to communicate effectively and develop relationships quicklyLeasing, sales and closing skillsKnowledge of accounting principles and property management accounting preferredCompetence in the use of standard office equipment including telephones, Internet, fax machine, and photocopierBasic computer and data-entry skillsDemonstrate strong work ethics with the ability to adapt to changeUnderstand and carry out oral and written instructions

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

High school graduate or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)6 months service industry experience (property management and accounting experience preferred)Must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft OfficeRegular office work, however, occasional outside duties in all weather conditions
