Job Description
As a rapidly growing company, Enginetics ETG is actively looking Press Operators for our Huber Heights, Ohio facility. We are looking for individuals who are going to take pride and ownership of their work and perform to high quality standards.
We are looking for Press Operators for our 2nd shift. Shift hours are as follows;
  • 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:40pm to 11:10pm

The Press Operator will sets-up and operate manual and CNC controlled presses. Sets-up and operate mechanical, hydroform, bladder, brake and hydraulic punch presses.
Other duties and responsibilities include
  • Assembling, installing, and aligning dies in press according to specifications;
  • Adjusting ram stroke to specified length;
  • Initiating and operating press operations detecting any misalignment or malfunction;
  • Inspecting work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusting machine to correct errors;
  • Cleaning and lubricating machines;
  • Blanking and forming sheet metal components using mechanical and hydraulic presses;
  • Forming sheet metal components using manual and CNC controlled brakes;
  • Documenting print and process sketch dimensions as required. Inspection of dimensions using applicable measuring instruments;
  • Producing set-up sheets that allow for repeatability of the process;
  • Interpreting blueprints and sketches;
  • Performing set-ups with little supervision;
  • Communicating processing concerns with Engineering;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualified individuals must have
  • Two (2) years' experience in a machine shop/sheet metal processing manufacturing environment.
  • Two (2) years' experience in the set-up and operation of presses.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools is also required.
