Responsibilities

With oversight and direction from the Program Director(s), the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational functions of the accredited GME training programs.ย  The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. ย The Program Coordinator should be organized in planning, assisting with maintaining continuing accreditation, recruiting of trainees, projects, analyzing and maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues and managing internal and external program relations. ย Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GME databases.ย 

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and/or Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) experience preferred.ย 
  • ACGME experience preferred.ย 
  • TAGME certification encouraged but not required.ย  ย 
  • Experience with New Innovations, ERAS preferred.ย

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.03 to $28.54. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
