The Esports Team Manager is responsible for scheduling scrimmages for practice. They also will handle the arena so that the team can worry solely about their game play. The Esports Manager will also assist technologically in broadcasting set up and breakdown. This will also

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

  • Inform students, staff, faculty and/or general public on office practices, policies, and procedures (CT, C ,P ,CTR)
  • Facilitate one-on-one meetings with students regarding academics and develop mentoring relationships with peers (CT, C, T, L, P, CSD, CTR)
  • Plan, market, and host evening workshops with campus partners from other departments and with student organizations and others on request (C, TW,L, CSD, CTR)
  • Assist with and contribute to events hosted by the department professional staff (C, TW, P)
  • Contribute to group and individual projects that benefit the office/department, such as gathering and analyzing data, social media and website development, resource development, internal development and education and budgeting (CT, C, TW, T)
  • Work independently and efficiently (CT, P)
  • Serve as receptionist: answer multi line phone, greet and direct visitors. Superior verbal and written communication skills (C, CTR)
  • Make campus deliveries. Provide clerical support, proofreading, photocopying, and filing. Work on additional projects as assigned. (TW)
  • Assist with Coordinator of transportation for students if needed (TW, C, P)
  • Use MS Word, Excel, and compile data using software programs. (T)
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work. Ability to work inclusively in a diverse setting. (L, CTR)
  • Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, communicate changes in work schedule in advance, Appropriate attire as discussed for work environment. (P)
