eSports Summer Camp Counselor
Interested in gaming and working with youth? Get paid to share your passion this summer! St. Andrew's Parks and Playground is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to serve as eSports Summer Camp Counselors.
Our eSports camp program will run for six (6) one week sessions, from June 29th, 2026 through August 7th, 2026. Counselors will help lead activities, support campers, and create a fun, inclusive environment for participants of varying skill levels. If you are passionate about gaming, and love to teach and share your passion, we want to hear from you!
Essential Duties The following duties are representative but not all-inclusive:
  • Supervise campers during all activities while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and team-oriented environment
  • Teach and coach campers in eSports fundamentals, healthy gaming habits, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship
  • Organize and lead daily camp activities, including gameplay instruction, tournaments, and competitive scoring
  • Ensure gaming equipment and eSports rooms are properly set up, operational, cleaned, and shut down according to procedures
  • Manage camper check-in/check-out procedures and address player conflicts, game issues, or behavioral concerns as needed
  • Ensure all campers have equal opportunities to participate, play, and compete in camp activities

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Education classes or experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field preferred

Salary/Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Benefits: Full family membership to the fitness center (for immediate family members in the same household); Free uniform shirts; Medical Care Membership available with low ($70) monthly premiums
