$160/Hour Monday-Friday 7:30-3:30 No Call Flexible Schedulingย 

LifeLinc Anesthesia is seeking an experienced PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Eye Specialty Group in Memphis, Tennessee. This PRN role offers a predictable outpatient schedule, no call, and the opportunity to practice in an autonomous yet collaborative environment focused on delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered anesthesia care.

About the Facility:

Eye Specialty Group is a premier ophthalmology center in the Mid-South, specializing in advanced outpatient eye surgery and comprehensive ophthalmic care. The center supports high-volume procedures including cataract surgery, retina, glaucoma, corneal surgery, and oculoplastics. With streamlined workflows, and exceptional surgeon collaboration, CRNAs benefit from a predictable, well-supported environment designed to maximize safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence.

Situated in Memphis, Tennessee, the center provides the perfect balance of a stable outpatient practice with all the amenities of a major metropolitan area-arts, culture, top dining, and easy regional travel access. It is an ideal fit for CRNAs seeking work-life balance in a respected specialty setting.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30PM
  • CRNA's have the option to also provide services at Eye Specialty Group Locations in South Haven and Olive Branch, MS.

Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:ย 

  • The CRNA must function as a collaborator and team member to accomplish applicable goals and functions ofย LifeLinc.ย 
  • Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.ย 
  • Remains cognizant of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and remains compliant at a local, state, and federal level.ย 

ย 

Clinical Duties:ย 

The CRNA scope of practice includes, but is not limited to, the following:ย 

  • Performing and timely and accurately documentingย aย pre-anesthetic assessmentsand patientย evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.ย 
  • Theย day-to-dayย responsibility of the CRNA for this position will be toย provide professional anesthesiaย services to patients in accordance with the standard of care and state and federal laws and may include any of all of the following:
    • Managing a patient's airway.ย 
    • Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia.ย 
    • Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care area, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.ย 
    • Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.ย 
    • Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.ย 

Communication:

  • Attends meetings as neededย 
  • Works with peers to obtain required information on a timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.ย 
  • Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department by assisting coworkers, contributing ideas and problem-solving with co-workers.ย 
Qualifications

Education and experience equivalent to:

The Nurse Anesthetist shall be a Graduate of an approved school of nursing and a graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. The CRNA will have successfully completed the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Certification or its predecessor's.
