We're looking for an Escrow Post-Closer to join our Escrow and Settlement team. In this role, you'll help ensure every transaction is completed accurately and efficiently after closing by managing escrow account activity, disbursements, reporting, reconciliations, and post-closing compliance. What You'll Do:
  • Maintain escrow accounts and process disbursements for settlement transactions, earnest money, and escrow terminations.
  • Review daily escrow reconciliations, monitor outstanding balances, and manage interest-bearing escrow subaccounts.
  • Prepare disbursement packages and coordinate electronic recordings (e-recordings).
  • Process escrow and title fee transfers to operating accounts.
  • Perform monthly 1099-S maintenance and annual reporting activities.
  • Maintain escheat records and assist with annual escheat filings.
  • Conduct quarterly file audits and monitor post-closing workflows
  • Assist with commercial escrow order reviews and disbursement instructions.
  • Provide backup support for Escrow Specialists and Closing Coordinators as needed.
What We're Looking For:
  • Three or more years of experience in one or more of the following: commercial real estate closings (preferred), residential real estate closings, loan processing, accounting, auditing, or commercial title insurance underwriting.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience working with business software; SoftPro Select experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze detailed information and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to recognize potential escrow risks and fraud concerns.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and leadership.
